>WROTE a 103 page screenplay, focusing on telling a story that is standalone, while satisfactorily following potential narrative threads from the predecessor I Won't Wait. Took the arc of the protagonist, Ron/Ranveer II, to a natural followup while maintaining the impact of I Won't Wait and recontextualizing its story. The story focuses on the troubled relationship between Ron and his brother, Ranveer, who is a well known and accomplished boxer himself. While their relationship is explored through flashbacks from when they got along, the mainline story follows Ron's struggles to carve an identity for himself. The two narratives, the flashback and the mainline, collide in a tense climax where Ron is forced to face his past. 

>The story deals with themes of scarring and disfigurement, as it explores the trauma Ron has from a fight gone wrong, which gave him the scar on his cheek and also forced him out of boxing -- something that he has never been able to come to terms with, considering that it was the only identity he was ever allowed to have.

>Through Ron's relationship with the deuteragonist Malvika, who has her own history with Ranveer, I explored the idea of a found sibling.>Ron dropping out of college also tackles the bleak reality of education in India, where it is practically impossible to find any job without a college degree.
